LAGOM mini
Mega-performance in a Mini package
Unbelievably compact and mini
With a footprint of just 9.5 cm x 6.5 cm (3.7” x 2.6”), it is the most compact electric coffee grinder we know of on the market!
Made to last
All critical parts on the LAGOM mini are crafted from spacecraft grade aluminium to provide long last service for many years to come.
For both pour-over and espresso
Burrs designed specially to provide excellent grind for both filter brewing and espresso.
Stable and uniform grind
The main axle of LAGOM mini is supported by dual P5-grade contact angular bearings, ensuring stable burr performance and uniform grind.
Compactness of a hand grinder, without the hand cranking
As much as we enjoy our morning coffee ritual with hand grinding, there are times when we wished we have the option to just press a button and still get a great cup of coffee. LAGOM mini is our answer for coffee lovers who appreciate convenience and yet do not want to give up the benefits of a hand grinder - small footprint, great grind quality and zero/minimal maintenance.
Perfect for those who just want a simple high-quality grinder to make 1-2 cups in the morning, without having to invest in a big grinder on the counter.
Because of the super tiny footprint, we also envision it being the perfect complementary filter grinder to go alongside your main espresso grinder - as well as being a light-weight travel electric grinder (accepts 100-240V)!
All metal - premium construction for longevity
Our vision is not only to create coffee tools that are functional and beautiful, but are also durable and long lasting. All critical parts on the Lagom mini are carefully selected and manufactured from a mixture of high-strength stainless steel and spacecraft-grade aluminium which are treated to a luscious anodised corrosion-resistant finish - each of these elements were deliberately chosen and put together with the goal to provide you years of reliable service.
Zero retention - fresh coffee every time
As of tradition of Option-O, all our coffee grinders are designed to have as close to zero retention as possible - this is to ensure only the freshest coffee will end up in your cup every time and that there is no carry over grind from previous sessions. Absolutely no purging is required with the LAGOM mini - which can be wasteful especially if you are working with small bags of premium (but often very delicious) single origin coffees.
Magnetised catch cup
The grind catch cup is magnetised to help you effortlessly position the cup in the center of the base - no coordination needed and no more spill even if you’re still half awake! The catch cup is machined from a single block of metal and treated to a smooth finish - both inside and outside. Not only it feels good in hand, the design also ensures that there are no sharp corners or edges within the cup to minimise any potential grind retention.
Custom designed burrs
There are two burrs options available for the LAGOM mini :
(i) Our 48 mm Obsydian burrs - this 48 mm burrset provide sweet, complex and transparent cup quality especially for filter brewing, allowing the tasting notes in your single-origin coffee to be more apparent and more easily identifiable.
(ii) New 48mm Moonshine burrs - the newest addition to the family! We think it works especially well for modern light roasted specialty coffee. The brew profile tends to taste cleaner, with high clarity, and acidity is more elegant and appears to be sparkly/brighter and yet complex.
Precision-focused design to provide stable and uniform grind size
As with all our grinders, precision and grind quality are our priority and would never be compromised. All critical parts on LAGOM mini are CNC-machined to ensure industry-level precision while the main axle of the grinder is supported by dual P5-grade angular contact bearings - both to ensure maximum burrs stability and precision for uniform grind results.
