US -China Tariff and what it means to you

Hi everyone,

Like many of you, we’ve been closely following the latest updates from the White House regarding the new tariff measures. As our shipments currently originate from Hong Kong, these changes may impact how we ship to our customers in the United States.

We fully understand that paying a tariff exceeding 100% is simply not a feasible option. Unfortunately, with frequent policy changes and ongoing uncertainty, it's difficult to predict how things will unfold in the coming days or weeks. Without a clear and stable policy, we (including importers and exporters) are unable to make informed decisions and respond appropriately.

To be transparent, we’re already looking into alternative options to mitigate these risks. One of the steps we’re actively considering is importing the grinders into the US ourselves, which would give us more control over the logistics and help reduce some of the financial burden for our US customers (therefore it would be a domestic purchase from customer’s point of view). We’re also in discussions with our logistics partners to identify other possible solutions.

For now, we’re temporarily paused most US-bound shipments (especially grinders or items of higher-value), working under the assumption that the high tariff is not acceptable. We’ll only proceed with shipping once we’ve confirmed with each customer individually, as we don’t believe it’s reasonable to ask anyone to shoulder excessive tariff costs under such uncertain and unexpected circumstances.

During these uncertain times, we’re also exploring ways to share or absorb some of the unexpected costs for existing orders, depending on the amount and situation. And in a worst-case scenario, if we can't find a workable solution (or without incurring significant costs to you), we will offer full refunds. Please rest assured that we’re taking this matter seriously and doing everything we can to protect the interests of our customers.

We truly appreciate your trust, and kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we navigate this situation together. Unfortunately, the current situation is out of our hands as we await further updates from the US government. But we’re staying alert and ready to act as soon as things stabilize. Once there’s more clarity, we’ll be in a much better position to move forward and provide the best path and solution for each of you.
