PCS Module for 102mm Blind Carrier

PCS is a modular retrofit kit for LAGOM 01 grinders equipped with the 102mm blind burr carrier.

The PCS system works by controlling the feedrate of whole beans into a crusher, which then reduces them into smaller, more uniform fragments before they reach the burrs — resulting in better grind uniformity, fewer fines, and improved motor efficiency.

This kit is offered at a heavily subsidized price for existing LAGOM 01 owners.

What PCS does

The PCS system combines two key functions in one integrated module:

• Controlled Bean Feed: Instead of beans dropping directly into the burrs chaotically, PCS delivers a regulated, steady beans flow to the prebreaker. This enables smoother, more consistent grinding action.

• Efficient Pre-Crushing: Whole beans are prebroken into smaller fragments before entering the burrs. This upstream size reduction lowers the fines ratio, enhances grind consistency, and allows the burrs to perform more efficiently.

NOTE: This is a retrofit kit only.

Starting April 2025, all new orders of the LAGOM 01 with 102mm burrs will come with the PCS pre-installed by default — no separate kit required.

Only purchase this kit if you're upgrading an existing LAGOM 01.
